The Brief
Working to a reasonably tight budget, the brief was for us to build a house that was compact but stunning. It was also very important to Monika that the house be very energy efficient.
At 9.2 stars it certainly achieves that. Internal thermal mass, double glazed uPVC windows, uber insulated and with a solar hot water system Monika’s energy bills are going to be very low in the future.
The orange has also grown on us! It certainly isn’t a cookie cooker home by any stretch of the imagination.
